What's the purpose of this site?
To share pictures of the Des Moines metro area. Taking pictures of Des Moines is a great way to get to know and appreciate the city and, since digital photography, Flickr and Twitter make sharing easy, why not share?
What style of photography will I find on this site?
The photography on this site follows a documentary style. These are not intended to be art photos. They're intended to present a realistic image of interesting spots in Des Moines. This is also reflected in the choice of subject matter. This site will focus on normal street scenes, interesting little shops and popular locations and businesses. The focus is on places that are part of daily life in Des Moines and the places that help make life in Des Moines interesting.
